350NH Action endorses candidates that have bold climate policy in their platform including an end to fossil fuel use and expansion and a just transition to renewable energy. We need leaders who unequivocally support climate justice. Climate justice is an intersectional issue, so we only endorse candidates who have strong stances on: racial justice, immigrant justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, reproductive justice, healthcare for all, public education, Indigenous rights, gun safety, disability rights, ending mass incarceration, and reducing income inequality.

350NH Action is not prepared to make endorsements in 2025 for races that occur in 2026. Candidates who are looking for our endorsement in the future should know that we look for the following in our endorsed candidates:

  • Support for a climate action plan that includes a transition to 100% renewable energy, bans to new fossil fuel infrastructure, environmental justice standards, climate literacy, job training, banning PFAS chemicals, and building climate resiliency.

  • Support for a just transition for fossil fuel plants in New Hampshire, including Schiller and Merrimack Station coal plants.

  • Pledge to take no fossil fuel money in their campaigns which means taking no funding from fossil fuel or utility companies, lobbyists, and CEOs.

  • Support for utility system transformation that includes stopping rate hikes and protecting ratepayers over the interests of for-profit utilities.

  • Support for sanctuary cities and prevention of police cooperation with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as migration is a human right and can be spurred by climate disasters.

  • Support for racial justice, including support of the Black Lives Matter movement and reallocation of police funding to social services.

  • Support for community choice aggregation, also known as community power, to give towns in NH more choices surrounding their electricity system.

  • Actively pushes back against the agenda to take rights away from the LGBTQIA+ community, especially when it comes to bodily autonomy and protections for trans children.

***Our Endorsement Process for the 2026 Elections will not be open until the Spring of 2026.

We will notify you with the email you give us if we are moving forward with an endorsement. We are a small team and there are so many of you - so please have patience with us through this process.
